Ilu and I drove to Tenerife, the island next to Gran Canaria, on a ferry. We stayed at the beautiful town of La Orotava, and made stops at Puerto de la Cruz, La Laguna, Candelarea and Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Not to mention, of course, that we went up the highest peak in all of Spain, and the third highest in Europe: Teide.

Amr took the Eurostar from London to spend a week with me in Paris. Well, it seems like it was no more than a two hour train ride, but he actually went through A LOT more to get the visa and papers in. We spent the entire week walking around Paris and exploring the different areas of this city. It was an experience on various levels, as I had more crepes than in my entire life, walked more hours than I would ever dare, and became familiar with my new home.

Ruth Pimentel and Dani Ortiz came to Paris to visit me...well, not really, but they came to Paris with me in mind! They were here for eight days, and besides the day in which I was ill, I spent a lot of time with them on a regular basis. It was enchanting to get to spend time with time, and experience Paris alongside them.

Jose Manuel and Rocio Consolacion came from Utrera to spend the long weekend here in Paris. It was incredibly entertaining, as I spent the maximum time possible with them. It's one thing to see Paris with tourists, and it's a completely different adventure to experience the French capital with those two! hehehe. Good times. Toni Bolinches was here as well from Cairo, so they were keeping me busy.
